Do you fancy directing some of your Companies
marketing or sponsorship money into a different
area. One that will not only help you achieve
the desired result through good exposure,
but also one that helps people living with
Cancer.
If the answer is yes,
then here's your chance. For the first time
ever, Stoney and friends are opening the
doors to non angling related Companies,
and giving them the opportunity to get involved
in our worthwhile events.
For future events,
you can do one of the following:
• Sponsor a
Lake – Depending on the venue, we
usually have several lakes that are in use.
We are suggesting that you could sponsor
a lake for £250. For this, we could
display your Company banner/sign etc by
the lake, plus your name would be on all
literature sent out in respect of the event.
• Sponsor the
Event – One car park is used as the
main hub of the event. A food van is on
site for the whole event and the toilets
are located here. As a result, the car park
is regularly visited by everyone involved
in the event. For £500, we would be
happy to display your Company sign/banner
in the car park for the whole of the event.
Additionally, should you wish to have a
manned stand/small tent in the car park,
this would be possible for an additional
£500.
• Match the
sponsorship of the Anglers – You could
agree to match the amount raised by the
Anglers, either in total, or on an individual
lake basis. For this, your Company sign/banner
would either be displayed on the lake or
in the car park as applicable.
• Sponsor the
fish caught – Here you could either
sponsor the number of fish caught either
by weight or total numbers caught. Suggested
sponsorship is £5.00 per pound , or
£10.00 per fish. This sponsorship
could again be by lake or for the whole
event. As it is obviously not possible to
guarantee that any fish will be caught,
or that hundreds will be caught, we would
suggest a minimum guarantee of £100
per lake or £300 for the whole event,
with a maximum limit of £300 per lake,
and £750 for the whole event. The
benefits you get for this are the same as
sponsoring a lake or the event.
• Match the
money raised in the Raffle – You could
agree to match the amount of money raised
for the raffle. Tickets are only sold at
the event, not in advance. For this, your
Company sign/banner would be displayed in
the car park.
• Donate Raffle
prizes- Any raffle prizes are always welcome,
whether they are your own companies promotional
clothing such as tee-shirts, polo shirts,
rugby shirts, fleeces etc, or anything else
you care to donate.
• Make a sponsorship
suggestion to us – If you have any
other ideas of how you would like to sponsor
our event, please contact us. As mentioned
in the letter attached, this is our first
attempt at raising money from outside the
angling fraternity. We are therefore open
to suggestions and will endeavour to accommodate
your ideas.
All Companies who
sponsor us, will appear on our website,
and will have a direct link through to their
own site.
